» Feature Writer Daniel Workman - Money (That's What I Want)

Three things this Canadian boy knows about Paul McCartney. First, Paul deeply loved Linda and plunged into deep despair after his first wife succumbed to cancer. A desperate quest for replacement love may have resulted in the second-biggest mistake in Paul's life, that was not insisting on a prenuptial agreement before marrying a very aggressive and tough American woman, Heather Mills. Paul's biggest mistake was marrying Mills in the first place. Mills, a beauty queen who had lost a limb due to a skiing accident, is no shrinking violet and despite her good looks is a rugged fighter to the end.

Sure Paul McCartney isn't perfect, but just as surely McCartney is a musical genius whose spirit is fuelled by a once-in-a-lifetime reciprocal love affair with Linda.

As we wait for the final facts of the bitter divorce to surface, my opinion is based on reading and observing Paul and Heather on Larry King Live. I think that Paul is the victim of a zealous gold digger. I just can't get the following song lyrics out of my head whenever I run across the name or see the face of Heather Mills who now fulfills the title of divorce court lawyer's dream.
================================
The best things in life are free
But you can keep em for the birds and bees.
Now gimme money THAT'S WHAT I WANT
That's what I want THAT'S WHAT I WANT
That's what I want, ye-ye-yeh,
That's what I want.

Money don't get everything it's true.
What it don't get I can't use.
REPEAT CHORUS...
